Recently, it was Eating Disorder awareness week, and I wanted to take this moment to reflect on the hold that disordered eating had on me for a very long time. Approximately 1.25 to 3.4 million people are affected by eating disorders in the UK (Priory, 2023). Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of all
